OT: National Plowing Contest Questions!

OK...I'll admit I'm pretty dumb when it comes to somethings...and this is one of them. I live just a few miles from the site where the "National Plowing Contest" will be held this weekend, so by tomorrow night I'll be an expert (x=THE UNKNOWN + spurt=DRIP UNDER PRESSURE)on the subject. But right now, I'm wondering just what this contest is? Do they compete against each other, or against the clock, or is it judged? They have announced that the winner of the contest will go to the Czech Republic to compete in the World Contest. So, is there only one national winner that will be crowned champion?
