Need help.......again

I posted last week about my Ford 861 running rough and then not starting. Got some excellent advice and finally got her running. But......after running about a half hour, it starts missing and bogging down under load. Gets progressively worse. Made me think it might be overheating. Unfortunately the temp gauge doesn't work but it's got plenty of fluids. I'm wondering if the thermostat is stuck. Anyone have any ideas where to look next?
