One thing that can happen is The Engine became flooded and the excess gasoline wiped the oil from the sides of the cylinder walls--resulting in no compression --the engine will crank but not start--To fix this --remove all spark plugs and pour a little oil directly onto the pistons (table spoon or two in each) spin the engine over to spread out the oil --this should restore the oil film to the walls of the cylinders and also the rings replace new spark plugs --go
