To buy or not to buy...

I'd post this on the Deere page but it's not really about the make of the tractor. My wife and I think differently. She buys something and it immediately has no cash value to her. I buy something and I figure it'll have value when I get bored with it and want to be rid of it. This is where we have some strong discussions on her spending habits vs. mine. So here it is - I have the opportunity to buy either one of 2 A's or a 60 from a customer of mine. The A's were bought new in '49 and '51 and the 60 was bought used 30 years ago. The last one to run was the '51 A and that was two years ago. The 60 hasn't in 5 and the '49 A in seven. All three have 4 row cultivators. I think the price is right but my wife thinks not. Do I buy one of the tractors with her lukewarm "whatever" or keep the peace and miss an opportunity to buy a two banger project tractor at a good price? By the way, I have very, very little experiance with two cylinder Deeres. I grew up on a 4020, 4430, 4640, and 1086.
