Pretty common for the end of the gearshift lever inside the transmission to come out of the sliding shifter rail. There's a pin about 1/2" in dia. that runs left to right just under the spring loaded spherical shield on the bottom of the gearshift lever. Drive that pin out from right to left, lift the lever up & out and align the slots in the three shift rails just inside the hole, reinstall the shift lever and the pin and Your tractor should shift well again. If it happens frequently You may have to have a welding shop build up a little metal on the bottom & all four sides of the rectangular portion on the bottom of the lever that engages the three slots in the shift rails.
