Just like you said. The nice part is the haybine windrows the crop for you and you don't have to worry about getting your sickle hung up in the last round's grass. Additionally, it has skid plates under it (2) that you adjust for cutter height (with a pin). My manual recommends 4" stubble for sudan to get a good regrowth. Grass doesn't matter . Mine is kinda a pain as I do both and am continuously under the thing moving the plates up and down. Mark
