Allan in NE I've asked farm related questions on this forum and various people have told me this is a tractor forum. I think the demographics of this forum is very few actual farmers and a lot of retirees, heavy on the military. So a lot think all that a tractor is for is to pull a finish mower around 3-10 acres.
A lot can run and hide their head in the sand but politics is in our lives more now than ever before. If their wife is running to town better throw in an extra $20 for gas. With China buying up the metal the prices arent just going to stay with scrap metal. Sooner or later it will be in the new parts.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
