Appreciate your concurrence on the 1990 resolution- so many have forgotten that, although I agree that it would have been better to finish the job then. Curious about your comment about B1 being able to assist the Kurds and Shiites- my brother was lifetime Army, spent much time in Turkey, told me how SH gassed thousands of his own (Kurds)- but wasn't that in the 80s? What was the timeline regarding your comment about providing assistance, but abandoning them. And considering the numbers on each side, and the logistics of providing that, could we have made a difference? Sort of like Monday quarterbacking, but makes for an interesting discussion.
