I'm looking at picking up an overhauled Ford 3000 pretty soon, and I'd like to do a couple of mods to it if they aren't too expensive. I want to do most or all of these mods myself, if possible. I do have very limited knowledge as far as working on these engines, but I think it would be a great learning experience. 1.) Install 4WD conversion kit (selectable). I'm curious if there's one made specifically for this tractor. 2.) Install power-steering if it doesn't already have it. 3.) Install a loader like an Ezee-On 2060. I've also heard good things about Koykers, but I don't have any first-hand experience with them. 4.) Live PTO. I have no clue how to do this, but it would be a terrific learning experience. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email me. Thanks in adv.!!
