I have heard of one case where a guy dug his own well and it was a flowing aquifer and he couldnt get it to stop flowing and one neighbor sued him...for flood damage or something. Make sure that if you do this that you dont have heavy underground water pressure. Do you have a well now? Do you live in the city or the country?
