An 8' bucket might hold a yard or so of gravel which would weigh something like 2,500 lb. Far smasller tractors than yours can easily lift that load. Your Operator's Manaul should have instructions on how to set and bypass/relief valves for proper loader operation. But the first thing to check is for proper hydraulic fluid level. All leaks, no matter how small, must be corrected and the fluid level maintained per the book. Fluid in the tractor must look and smell like the fluid in the jug. If it does not, drain and replace all of it. The hydraulic system filter must also be replaced.
