Do not know what you are calling a sap bettle. We/I probably just know it by a differant name. Any way it is hard for me to suggest a chemical for you to use as we live in differant areas and climate. What works for me may not work for you. I was hoping some one local to you would answer but I will try to at least direct you. What I would suggest to you is to go to your state ag center web site and search for a corn insecticide guide. This will list the insecticide that your state has tryed and works for them. NOTE: Permethrin may be listed in these pages as Ambush. Same thing.
