The 3-cyl. 820 & 830 diesels were the first German-built John Deeres sold in this country, about 1971-72 I think. They are nothing like the 2-cyl. 820 or 830, but they do exist. They look similar to a 1020. Every company screws up bad somewhere, and the 2010 was JD's big one. Not that bad from the operator's point of view, but a mechanic's screamin' nightmare.
