I am in the process of evaluating an International. I was told that it was a 584 but after a look over I found the birth plate and it is now an 884. Can someone tell me about this tractor (HP, advice)? It is in running order but is a little beat-up cosmetically (all sheet metal, no lights, dash panel, some rust). It appears that the tach is not working and I haven't run it to see if the hours are correct (1800 on display). Needs a new front rim and tire. The serial number is B650005B000884 X. Any help would be appreciated. It's selling for around $1500 US. This may be my first tractor and the primary use will be bush-hogging.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
