PF, Two things: Brakes don't usually make a "clunking" noise, so I would make sure that wheel bearing is as it should be. How about the brake cylinder leaking fluid? A 'grabbing' brake usually points to being oil soaked. And, make sure the primary shoe is on the front and the secondary is on the back side of the backing plate. Sometimes, they are different lengths. Also, is she using the emergency brake during her travels? If so, maybe that one cable is hanging up. A clunking noise in the back usually points to a strut or bad rear ball joint depending on the car body type. Allan
