Our local auto-electric rebuild shop has no trouble getting the Nippondenso parts, so Deere doesn't have them sewn up. The Nippondenso parts are pricy, but they are the best, according to him. Check with your Deere dealer anyway, you might be surprised at their price. The price for a rebuilt Motorola alternator for a mid-'60's Deere was no different at Deere (in stock) than the local parts house (order item only).
