Robert, the 3020 is a real nice field tractor. However for your use on only 8 acres, you would me much happier with a newer, smaller, wide front, power steering, hydrostatic, front end loader tractor. You will use the bucket for everything around your small farm. I could not operate at my age without my small utility tractor with the front bucket. Use it lifting, moving, rock picking, fence building, post holes, mowing, dirt work, etc. You may also need a good 5 foot mower, post hole digger, box blade, tiller(if gardening or orchard) a tandem disk harrow, a 2 bottom plow, etc.
