Hi Robert, I don't think the tractor is too big for your needs; I would think that it's just about the right size, in fact. Also, if it is in as good a condition as you say, the asking price seems very fair, considering that the tractor is a diesel & the fact that he is throwing in the mower. It all comes down to that front-end and only you can decide that, as only you know what kind of ground you'll be working and what implements you will be using with the tractor. Allan
