You stated that You know it doesnt have heavy enough material in it. That is a good recepie for a Product Liability suit!

I wanted to have tires rotated on a vehicle a year ago. When the dealer saw them they said "We cant rotate them because they are to wore down. We could be sued if You have an accident." Ther was still plenty of tread on those tires by my judgement!
