do some research on different tractor models. read, read, read... then look for a tractor you like,[your going to look at it for awhile], that doesnt need tons of work to make it servicable. something in your area maybe thats plentiful. easy to get parts for. i would not recomend a basket case or a serious project. youll be overwhelmed before you start. get a friend thats knowledgable about mechanics. they can help you in your choice and help with the work. dont be in a hurry to finish, everything takes time. do what it takes to fix it,.... youll know whether you want to do one again. pg
