If you take anyone from their area of expertise and expects them to make a correct decision about something they have little experience. How bright would you look if suddenly handed the controls in an airplane, industrial process panel, just handed the tools and parts on an assembly line. Or expected to run your computer on dos, even figure just the simple chemical equation for rusting iron. So yes people are stupid about anything they don't know about. You don't feel threatened by someone with an education, secure income, new SUV vehicle, cash in their pocket and a comfy rural estate?

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics.
