They are good trucks,dependable,get decent fuel mileage. Mine is a 93 4x4 with 244,000 on it,gets around 18-20 in the summer,14-17 on winter blend fuel. While you are working on it,adjust the valves,and service the transmission and adjust the bands. Alot of owners skip this,and then complain about the trans. not lasting.Under severe use,do this once a year or 15-20,000 miles.You can find running gas trucks cheap,for a donor pickup for body parts.
