Rob,
I have an 89 one ton with 312,000 , I can't
get over 18 mpg , but it has a steel top with cabinets
and about a ton of tool etc that is never unloaded.
A friend of mine has an 89 3/4 ton that has
500,000 and he gets slightly over 20 mpg mostly
unloaded. george
