plowing ?

I'm having difficulty plowing my garden and wonder if anyone has any suggestions. I plow with a 2 bottom plow on a farmall super c with a fast hitch. For the past few years it seems that the plow only goes about 6 inches into the soil, barely deep enough to turn it over. Would a dull plow explain this? Everything is o.k. with the fast hitch and hydraulics. I don't have much experience with plowing so there may be something else I'm doing wrong, although I've plowed this same garden patch for about 10 years without problems until recently.
