If the point of a tractor pull is to be the best puller, I'd not see a need for a pace tractor? Let everyone work their throttle as they pull, and get the best pull from the best tractor/driver? This would give everyone the extra 10' - equal footing - and one less issue to come up. Let the officials work on real issues?
