Both GPM and presure are important. Hot water helps a lot also. One important word of caution concerning GPM is make sure you have a adequate well if that is your situation. The well on my place will only put out 3 gpm so I am limited to this. Bought a 3gpm washer and well doesn't always keep up. I am in NW Iowa so you don't have to be in a desert to have low water delivery. When I was looking at washers and I told the sales person I didn't want anything larger than 3gpm he hardly beleived me. JM2CW JT
