THEY PUT OLD MOTOR OIL MIXED WITH KEROSENE AND PUT IN IT AND THE HOGS WOULD RUB ON IT AND IT WOULD TURN AND PUT OIL ON THEM TO KILL THE PARASITE ON THEM. WHEN I WAS A KID WE JUST WAS TO POOR TO HAVE A OILER SO WE WOULD HAVE THE HOGS IN A SMALL PLACE AND POUR OLD OIL ON THERE BACKS AND THEN THEY WOULD RUB UP AGAIST ONE ANOTHER AND THEY SURE WOULD SHINE AFTER YOU TURNED THEM OUT IN THE SUN. NO FLEAS OR TICKS ON THEM.
