So I figured I'd buy 4 new tires for it, as I'll be hauling various tractors and other equipment during an upcoming move, and I want it to be safe. So- what tires do I get? Somehow I think that car tires would not be the best choice. I think that stiffer, multi-ply trailer tires will be the thing, but I don't yet know where to get these. The rims are 15", btw. This trailer will not see lots and lots of highway use. I expect to use it quite intermittently over the next several years and want tires that are going to hold up. Like most things, I suspect sitting does more damage to tires that consistant use.
