It was always my job to cultivate the corn.
We had a J.D 51B. One day I had other things
I wanted to do. Corn was about three feet tall.
I started to cultivate in sixth gear, wanted to
get the job done. It did not take long before
Pa was in the field, he did not say much, but
I ended up finishing the field if first gear.
Took me a couple of days to finish.
