equip. you've fabricated from scratch

HI- i'd be interested in hearing about any equipment(motorized, tools etc) that you have pretty much fabricated from scrap/junk laying around the farm. It needent be pretty, just functional in my opinion. I built a loader for a bolens lawn tractor one winter. Was gonna buy those cad plans, but then i figured it couldnt be that hard to make by copying an similar loader. This was probably one of the best learning experiences I ever had..from the welding to lining up angles and pin holes. It worked well but you hafta remember its only a garden tractor.. stick the bucket into a stump and lift and the rear comes 2 ft of the groud......thanks
