Do you know about shimming the new bearings? Unless your machineshop machines the bearing caps, block, and rods for the proper fit you need to sim them to get proper clearance and bearing shell "crush". This has been described several times over on the AC board, it is a time consumming little job. You need to understand what you are doing and have a few specialized tools/measuring insturments to do a good job. That said, if you take it slow it isn't hard. Get back to me if you can't find it in the AC archives.
