OT--Perhaps I'm Whacky

TV Land is running the old 1960's show Green Acres again. I watched it in my childhood and caught bits and pieces of re-runs over the years, but this Saturday I found myself watching this show intently. Maybe I'm whacky, but it IS funny. It appears that the producers of the show really knew rural humor. It's just good, clean fun. Really like the old Fordson Mr. Douglas used to pull out a stump, and who hasn't met a Mr. Haney character in their travels? My wife and daughter just shook their heads and rolled their eyes when they caught me watching it.

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
