This is an old scam that's been around in several variations. They send you what appears to be a valid check. You put it thru your bank and send them off the "extra". Later you find out that it is drawn on a non-existant bank or it's a forgery. Meanwhile you are out your item and the cash you sent them, and what you thought you were keeping for yourself is gone because the check is no good. They not only get your product, but you pay them to take it!
