I've bought and sold on eBay for about six years now. There is only one way to bid sensibly. Set the price that you would be comfortable with and stick to it. If you think it's worth 500, do you really want it for 525 ???? If someone else thinks it's worth 525, let him have it. another tractor just as nice will show up on eBay in a few days. If you get into a bidding war, you won't be paying the price you are happy with. Now with inexpensive items where the increment is only 25 cents or so, that can frost you if you lose by only one increment. Still, the law of the marketplace is .......... "the value of an item is only what someone will pay for it." Good bidding to you all.
