Hi. I am the great grandson of Roy C. Townsend Sr., the man responsible for the line of Townsend oil tractors. He lived to be 103, and had a long list of patents under his belt. The history I've read in this discussion so far is correct, from what I've learned from my grandfather, who is now 91.I'd be very interested to see a scanned image of the manual if that's possible. I've been in contact with a father and son team that shows a Townsend tractor throughout the Midwest. If I find more info, I'll post it here. Tyler Townsend
