504s were produced with the C-152 4 cylinder motors. Someone inserted a 6-cyl in yours. I'll bet that was a neat trick. However, verify if your 504 is really a 504. Check the S/Ns and casting codes. Perhaps someone swapped some sheet metal from a 504 and put it on a larger tractor. Look for the casting code on the engine block as to what it may be. My guess is a C-221. Check below for our 504 page and see if your machine matches ours.
