remote oil filter canister workings

I am cleaning my remote oil filter canister, and am concerned that it may have some pluged holes in the center tube near the very bottom of the canister. However, I don't see any holes way down at the bottom of the center tube. I only see a few holes about midway on the center tube. Does anyone know if there are indeed holes near the bottom of the tube. I have blown air into the center drain fitting and it did not appear that any holes are down there, but I just can't imagine that the few holes on the center tube are enough.....
