Phil: it sounds like you have reservations about the Allied Loader despite it being within your financial means. If you have doubts about the Allied now, but like the Bush Hog, you will likely kick yourself for not getting what you want down the road. Just make it happen.

I looked at Allied and Bush Hog last year for my tractor and went with the Bush Hog. Nothing against Allied--they are fine pieces. The Bush Hog just felt right even though it was a bit more expensive. It also mounted on the tractor rather handily. I did the mounting myself and saved quite a bit. Maybe this is an option for you to consider.
