Yes, I remember those days, gas was 20 cents a gallon, bread was 15 cents a loaf, tractors were cheap or non-existent, a new chevy pickup was 1250 dollars and I made 50 cents an hour in at Western Auto or 4 dollars a day putting up hay from daylight to dark, my dad (a tool maker) made 1.45 an hour. Life was simple and you had nothing.
We had no TV, no air conditioner, a coal oil kitchen stove, p poor phone service and walked to a 1 room school winter & summer. If those are the good old days I'm glad they're gone.....
