Jonathan: I have a good friend here in central California who has 2 deutz-allis tractors, 1 50 hp and 1 75hp. He bought them about 17 years ago and farms 360 acres of Almonds, he uses them year round for running all types of implements including shreaders and harvest equipment. During harvest here temperatures are normally 100-110 degrees. He swares by these tractors to be best he's ever had, practically bullet proof. The only thing that he says negative is that now they are priced quite a bit more because they have gained popularity, but that is a positive thing if you look at bottom line after purchase expenses. good luck !
