I really enjoy Ebay. There are some bargains, but the old adage "patience is a virtue" is very true. If you need something NOW, forget it. The shipping costs are often more than the item selling price. What I do especially like as a canning jar collector, is that I can get brands of jars that were never normally in my part of the country. Some brands I had never even heard of outside of collector books until I started using Ebay. I also am finding that summer time is when you should be looking. Towards fall more people are inside and bidding. Of course there are also more items listed. If you are not careful the fine print will also get you. You have to read between the lines very carefully.
