I have a MF 245 and a 6 ft.brush hog and cut about 25 acres of old pasture. I have stabilizer chains on the sides of the brush hog. I can get them as tight as I want but have been advised it is "safer" to leave a little play in them. I was told if they are not able to swing a little that when I do hit something I will do damage to the implement. Seems like a stiffer hitch up would be better to me? Any suggestions or opinions?
