Hello Huw, Just an idea, if you want the pipe for looks, you may be able to get an insert to muffle the noise. The 4� side pipes on my Corvette have this type of inserted muffler. It is not very quiet though we have glass pac mufflers. Sound is sweet and you really can�t hear it much when driving over 80 mph! :-) Dave Olson - East-Central Illinois
