Winter of 2001. Had a cold and stuffy nose and nothing to do so I figured I would play with my little tractors for a change since they can't do any real work around the farm. Gassed up an AC B and 8N and neither one would start. I was pretty preoccupied while I was doing it thinking about everything else. Cranked away with no start and killed batteries. Hand cranked till I killed my arms. Ether. Nothing. Jeez I'm thinking, must have been a bad batch of gas as I'm still sparking. Let me drain them and start over. Sure enough, I filled them with diesel. Never told anyone. Been around tractors for 35 years.
