5th and 6th is weak on the 180. The farmer I work for has one and has to jam a block of wood under the shifter so it can't come out. most 180's have problems with 5 and 6th. The 180 is a pretty decent tractor my boss has a diesel which is a very quiet runner. Check and make sure the parking brake teeth arent badly worn because the one my boss has likes to suddenly release on it's own when the tractor is parked in a hill which is deadly dangerous, so you can't trust the parking brake. I always drive to a level spot if I need to get off the tractor to do something, I'm not saying the parking brake is useless because I still use it everytime I get off the tractor, but it should not be trusted in a hill because it could cost you your life. I'd say $5,500 to $6,000 would kinda be top dollar, but if it was in good shape and the transmission was ok, and had good tires I suppose it wouldn't be too much.
