I live near Woodstock. Loon, Waterville, Cannon Mt and Tenney Mt ski areas are all within 20 miles of me. Just off I-93, right in the middle of the state. I was on active duty with the NH Army National Guard from '83 to '88. I used to go to Pease for dental work. They sure treated us good, especially compared to Fort Devens. One visit there convinced me that I'd rather pay for the dental work myself than have that place do it. Pease was a breath of fresh air. Used to go to the commissary there and get a haircut whenever I was in the area (not too often). It's no longer an AFB as you may know. The Air Guard is still there but they're trying to redevelop the place. They call it the Pease International Trade Port now. Quite a few airliners fly outta there. Lots of cargo from what I've been told. I'm about 100 miles northwest of Pease. Come on back for a visit anytime. We like visitors.

Flax provided the fibre which w
