I'll almost agree, with except maybe a P-51 doing a low altitude high speed pass. A Corsair with a P&W R-2800 ain't too shabby either.

Our company has an International flatbed with a 10 liter Cummins. Even though it has a muffler, it is downright beastly sounding with the turbo a-twittering.

As to tractors, an Oliver 88 Diesel with a 2" straight stack is awesome. Our Farmall 460 with a standard muffler sounds great especially if you're standing on the operator's platform so there is a more direct sound path to your ears.
