The red Nortracs from Northern Tool are Jinma chinese tractors. 6 month warranty corresponds with the expected time it will take to break it. (That was mean, sorry) A grey market Yanmar is a tough tractor, but please dont think you are getting a Deere at 1/2 price. The reason for the Deere markup is the resale value, parts avail and service support. Break a spindle on a yanmar and you will know what I mean....you can probably find the used part, somewhere - wait and pay big bucks for shipping etc, and then you are on your own for the repair. Also remember that the grey market yanmars we see for sale are 20-30 yrs old....gear driven, non-live PTO, no power steering, etc. Not really comparable to a new Deere with E-Hydro and a cupoholder :)
