When I was a kid, most tractors were set up with the radiator up front and the fuel tank just in front of the steering wheel; when this changed with the New Generation John Deeres (and others), it wasn't at all unusual to have some employee fill the radiator (now the second filler cap, instead of the first) with fuel.....
