Two stage will handle all conditions of snow better,be more manueverable in tight areas.Tractor Mt SS will require wheel weights and chains to be effective at all,plus the mounting/dismounting and wear and tear on tractor.
Two stage will usually throw snow further as it has blower impellor that single stage does not have.
